I have been immersed in art since I was a child at summer camp. Escaping to the ceramics studio was where I found comfort and peace. I went on to graduate from Plastics & Fine Arts, Art Education and have a Master’s Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies with a concentration in ceramics. For 35 years, I concentrated heavily in clay, specializing in primitive firing techniques and winning multiple awards. Recently I have shifted my primary focus away from clay, feeling it was time to wash the mud off my hands and speak a new language. I am excited to be moving from  the 3-D world of clay, to the 2-D platform of paint and ink, and exploring a whole new way to communicate. From time to time I may still feature my first love!
